Get jigging this Autumn!
We’re super excited to share our 2026 Autumn term schedule, which is full to the brim with classes for all levels of experience!
The term runs from Monday 7th September to the Thursday 26th November. There are 12 weeks total, no breaks.
Booking opens on Monday 3rd August at 5pm.
New additions include…
Absolute Beginners Footwork Basics fortnightly 1.5 hour drop-ins in King’s Cross, for anyone who wants to have a taste of jigging without a full course commitment.
Riverdance Routines for Beginners & Improvers, sharing light shoe routines inspired by Riverdance!
Performance Choreo classes for advanced dancers led by Riverdance Dance Captain Jordan McCormick.
A new Improvers+/Intermediate Light Shoe class Wednesdays in King’s Cross
Multi-week courses for Beginners-Improvers in Highgate, Southbank and Oval.
A new Access Disability/Carer Pass - a 12-class pass to use within 6 months aimed at jiggers who have an access card/carer card or in receipt of PIP, and discounted course tickets.
Drumming, Sean Nós and Lord of the Dance Workshops in September/October.

p.s. This term we’ve also changed our T&Cs, the cut off for transferring a ticket has been extended to 7pm the day before for drop-in classes, no longer 5pm!
2026 Pricing and Passes
There are a few different ways of booking a class with Jig and a Swig. All of the info is outlined really clearly at the bottom of this page.

We offer block courses from Absolute Beginners to Improvers, and drop-in classes for Improvers+ to Advanced.
For drop in classes, you can join at any point in the term, just sign up to a call and come along!
Please note: Passes can not be used on courses, or the 1.5 hour classes! Just on 1 hour drop-in classes only.

We want to make booking your classes with Jig and a Swig simple and stress-free, whilst keeping some flexibility for when life happens!

With 400+ jiggers joining each week, it’s important to keep things consistent and fair. It’s not possible to make individual exceptions, unless in exceptional personal circumstances. If you’re ever in doubt, drop us an email at hello@jigandaswig.co.uk and we’ll be here to help you!
