Pay-as-you go

  • You can purchase sessions online on a pay-as-you-go basis. Weekly sessions are £10 when booked individually, and prices may differ for one-off workshops.

  • Each individual ticket can be transferred to a class of an equivalent price once up to 12 hours before the class time, if there is an eligible session with availability in the future which you can transfer to. You can also simply cancel a ticket up to 12 hours before the class time, but you will not receive a refund/credit.

Passes

  • You can purchase class passes which contain class credits at standard or discounted rates. Our 12 and 18 class passes offer a 10% discount on classes.

  • Pass credits can be redeemed against all weekly classes and specific sessions tagged with ‘Pass’. You can mix and match which classes you use your pass towards.

  • 12 and 18 class passes have specific months they can be used and expiry dates, which are set out on the booking website. 6 class passes are valid for one year. Credits which are not used within the time period cannot be refunded.

  • There are limited numbers of 12 and 18 class passes available to book every 3 months. Once these are sold out, only 6-class passes are available.

  • To purchase a pass you need to book on to at least one class at the time of purchase. Classes typically sell out, so if you have a pass, it is advised that you use it to book onto classes weeks ahead to ensure you have a spot and the pass can be used!

  • If you purchase multiple passes, the one which you purchase first will be applied until all credits are used, before the credits in the next pass can be applied. We recommend purchasing a time-bound pass first, before purchasing any additional passes.

  • As with pay-as-you go, you can transfer each ticket once up to 12 hours before the class start time to an eligible class with availability. Alternatively, if you simply cancel your ticket up to 12 hours before the class start time, the credit will be returned to your pass and you can use it towards a future ticket, and you won’t lose out!

Courses

Cancellations and Transfers

Waitlists

  • You can purchase a ticket to a Jig and a Swig multi-week course through a one-off payment, which allows you to book onto a set number of classes which are intended to be attended in sequence. The cost of each course is set out on our website.

  • Individual classes within a course cannot be transferred or paid for within a course, and cannot be transferred or cancelled individually

  • You can cancel your ticket onto a course up to 48 hours before the first class start time by emailing hello@jigandaswig.co.uk and receive a full refund. No refunds can be made after this point.

  • If your plans change and you can no longer attend a class, we offer the flexibility to transfer each individual class ticket to an alternative session.

  • All transfers and cancellations can be made via your booking portal or by clicking on te booking reference in your confirmation email.

  • Jig and a Swig often has waitlists for each class and we’re keen to ensure as many people have the opportunity to jig as possible! If you regularly book onto a class and then do not attend, you will be preventing other people from joining, so please bear this in mind.

  • If you know you cannot attend a class, please transfer or cancel as early as possible to allow other people to join from the waitlist. The earlier you cancel/transfer, the more chance that someone else can book their space and enjoy the session. Thank you!

  • Transfers:

    • You can transfer a ticket up to 12 hours before the class start time. No transfer can be made after this time.

    • You can only transfer a ticket once only. If this ticket has already been transferred, the system will not allow you to transfer it again and you will need to cancel the ticket to open up a space on the waitlist so someone else can join.

  • Cancellations:

    • You can cancel the class up to 12 hours before the class start time. You will not be entitled to a refund, however if you have used a pass credit to book, the credit will be returned to your pass.

    • By cancelling your ticket, you are allowing someone else to use the space in the class and enjoy jigging!

  • If you do not transfer or cancel your class within the 12 hour window, simply leave your ticket. You do not need to let the teacher know.

  • You cannot transfer or offer your ticket to someone else.

  • If you cannot attend a class, there is no need to let the teacher or Whatsapp community know in advance.

  • Jig and a Swig has over 200 regular joining each week, so it is important that the booking terms are followed consistently it is not possible to offer individual exceptions.

  • If you have any questions or issues that aren’t answered here or in our booking policy, drop us as line at hello@jigandaswig.co.uk and we can help!

  • If a class or course is fully booked, you can join the waitlist directly through the booking system.

  • When a space becomes available, you will be sent an email offering you the chance to purchase a ticket to the class.

  • You will have 45 minutes to book your ticket. After this, an email will be sent to the next person on the waitlist and they will instead have the opportunity to book.

  • Only once everyone on the waitlist has been emailed, any remaining spaces will become available to book by all.

  • Spaces often become available on the day and are not taken up by the waitlist, so do check back in the afternoon to see if a space is available to join that evening!
