Join for a jig in 2026!

  • We host adult Irish dance classes for every ability level.

  • Classes are held in Waterloo, Southbank, Oval, Highgate and Kentish Town.

  • Our classes are led by world-class Irish dance instructors.

  • Classes range between £10-£13 per hour.

  • Most classes are drop-in, however our Beginners and Improver classes are offered as block courses to help build confidence and skills.

  • We offer beginner taster sessions, and special workshops and events throughout the year.

  • We’ve answered all FAQ’s here to help you decide which class or course is best for you! We can’t wait to jig with you soon!

New Year Jigging

Booking for all 2026 classes and courses is open now!

Our New Year term runs from January-April. There are tons of opportunities to join us for a jig!

Absolute Beginner?

Thursday 29th Jan, 6pm and 7.30pm, London Irish Centre Camden

This 1.5 hour taster session is for people looking to try out Irish dancing, starting from the absolute basics!

No previous dance experience necessary, people with two-left feet welcomed!

We'll cover some of the basic footwork of traditional Irish step dancing, learn a few steps and a group dance or two! This is a super relaxed and supportive class and a great chance to meet some lovely new people too!

Beginner?

Thursdays at 6pm, Unit 3 Studios, Oval

This is a 12-week course perfect for beginner dancers with a tiny bit of experience. Maybe you’ve done a taster session, or an absolute beginners course, or a bit of childhood experience!

We'll cover the basics of solo Irish step dancing in light shoes, and the basics of heavy shoe dancing, leaving you feeling confident with the fundamentals of light and heavy shoe Irish dancing in time for St Patrick’s Day 2026!

Improver?

Thursdays, 8pm, Unit 3 Studios, Oval

This is a 12-week course perfect for dancers with around a year’s experience who are already confident with the basics of soft shoe dancing (threes, sevens, jumps, rise and grind) and already have a some experience with beginners heavy shoe (shuffles).
